Hunter Arts Network’s first Art Bazaar at Lambton Park is being held on Sunday 29 November 2015 from 9am – 3pm. Lambton Park is located on the Corner of Howe & Morehead Sts, Lambton, so Art Bazaar will be surrounded by beautiful parklands & great scenery. Lambton is a densely populated residential area located around some of Newcastle’s main roads making it a convenient suburb for transport.

Art Bazaar, a 2015 Hunter Local Business Awards Finalist, 2015 Stockland Community Grants Winner & 2014 QantasLink Hunter & Central Coast Awards for Excellence in Tourism Finalist, has developed into a major art event for the region which now attracts many visitors from out of the area and is the Hunter’s premier artisan and design marketplace. Art Bazaar is a great way to show families and visitors how wonderful our creative community is.

HAN is a non-profit membership of artisans from the Hunter who carefully hand pick stallholders to ensure that shoppers have an array of local, handmade, unique, original & quality products, making Art Bazaar an affordable opportunity for both the public & the creative people of Newcastle and the Hunter. Enjoy meeting the artists and designers who have carefully created for the reputable event providing access beyond the boundaries of the gallery.

Art Bazaar is free entry & is within easy walking distance from many cafes, clubs & pubs including Lambton Park Hotel, Lambton Bowling Club, Coffee Infusion & more. Art Bazaar will also have plenty of food & drinks available including Bellarossini coffees & drinks, Viet Yum, Ice Creamery on Wheels & Brewlicious.

Hunter Arts Network is proud to support Shop Small which is committed to supporting the thousands of small businesses that are the heartbeat of our great community. We’re encouraging you to shop at the small shops and businesses that make our neighbourhood a great neighbourhood, this November. This includes Hunter Arts Network’s Art Bazaar at Lambton Park, Cnr Howe & Morehead Sts, Lambton on Sunday 29 November 2015.

Shop Small is a movement dedicated to supporting the small business owners who do big things for customers and communities around Australia. You know the ones – the family businesses, the start-ups, the independents, the small businesses that give our neighbourhood its colour and its convenience.  It’s no secret that thriving local shops create thriving local communities, which in turn create local jobs.

Shop Small began as a one-day event in the United States five years ago is now a movement that has expanded across three continents.

This November, show the heart of our community some love.

Think big – Shop Small. Join the Shop Small movement.
